Here it is. My why.

Babe, I’ve been through some things, haven’t we all? I’ve always used art as an outlet to express the pain I feel, and as a way to speak when I can’t find the words. The photo shown here is a composite image I captured to describe what depression felt like. Even though I created this image many years ago now, I’m still so proud of the emotion it evokes and what it communicates.

Domestic Violence
When I was dating in college, I wasn’t aware of the different forms abuse could take, like a shapeshifter in a sci-fi show it squeezes its way into your life. So, I found myself in a relationship with a man who was increasingly abusive. I knew something was very wrong in the relationship, but I couldn’t figure out what it was until I turned to google. Once everything clicked, it felt like my world was crashing down, and I had no control, no way out.

But I did make it out of that situation. And now I have the strongest passion for empowering ladies and uplifting women through timeless images. My job is to capture your story, sensuality, and spirit, and I can’t think of a better way to spend my day.

Domestic violence is more prevalent than you can imagine. That’s why with each session I book, I am giving 20% of the session cost to a non-profit helping women get out of these situations for good. I want to make an impact, even if it’s just a dent, to help other women find freedom. Even helping in a small way, means the world to me.
